EM1 clutch leaking fluid?
Noticed a spot in the driveway today. Jacked the car up and saw fluid leaking from the area around where the shift linkage hooks to transmission.
I recently noticed that the clutch pedal is a little stiffer. Not sure if the two are related.
Please excuse the bad pics.

Could be a seal going bad.

Or could be the speed sensor above it leaking down..
or could be main seal inside the housing.
spray it with brake clean, clean it up. then look to see where its coming from

You have to smell it and distinguish if its trans fluid or motor oil.
Clean the whole motor with a pressure washer then check daily for the leak. Best way to find it.

Just wanted to follow up incase someone else has the same problem.
It was the driver side axle seal and the shift linkage seal leaking. I will replace today and try and adjust my pressure plate so clutch pedal wont feel so tight.

Okay, so no room for adjustments. The car has an aftermarket clutch, stage 2 i think,
Are aftermarket clutches supposed to be hard to go into frist and second? There is no grinding, but feels like I have resitance going to first, like at a stop light.
