Replacing Front Door Speakers

94 Civic EX coupe
When removing front door speakers, do the door panels need to be removed?
Or do the covers come off separately?

covers come off separately they usually pull strait off

My car has the AR tweeters, do you recommend the same Polk coaxials?
And are they 5.25" or 6.5" ?
