I have a 94 civic vx and i didn't have a knock sensor in the GSR engine harness so i'm install a whole new wire and sensor to my car. I found a blue/yellow wire that goes to my D3 knock sensor plug in the ecu then i traced it to the 10 pin passenger harness which ended up being in the bottom middle of the harness. And then i traced the wire in my engine harness and it leads to the distributor. Should i tap my knock sensor wire to the same wire as the distributor? found it weird since everyone keeps saying the wire is red or red/black or red/white. Any help guys? Thanks!

Your civic engine harness won't have this to the knock you'll have to wire it from the shock tower or directly to the ECU

 

Thanks for the reply HondaPartsHero! Although, I'm using the GSR Integra Harness and as weird as it is, there was already a wire on the D3 slot of the passenger side which leads to the distributor. So from this point, idk what to do. I want to be able to go through BARD cause... Cali sucks lol.
