Okay so I recently swaped to a d15b7 with a z6 head and a y8 intake mani. Now I used the z6 mani gasket. (Dont ask why) NOW! Im leaking coolant from right under the vtec solenoid or around it. Ive never heard coolant coming from vtec solenoid. Under the solenoid it's dripping. I can see it drip from there. I dont know if it is the manifold or what. Please help.

 

Sounds like you need to visit a shop cause I don't think I have ever heard of coolant leaking from where your saying (by the VTEC solenoid) so yeah...
Only thing it may be is perhaps the radiator hose is leaking?

Okay. I fixed one leak. It was the manifold gasket, I bought a new gasket. Now the vtec solenoid is leaking. Yeah I took it off and theres a coolant passage to cool it down. Thanx anyways.

Check the temperature sending unit and coolant hose near (under) the distributor.

 

cant use the z6 intake manifold gasket on a z6 head when putting a y8/y7 manifold on. the z6 has a square coolant hole and the y7/y8 have a circle coolant hole. I have a y8 manifold on my z6 with a y8 IM gasket and have never had problems with leaks.... I recommend smearing alil rtv on both sides for safe measure and sure seal.....
