Vtec solenoid leak?

[b]If it was a head gasket leak i heard there would be alot of bubbles in the oil and the coolant would be lost in the process. And i have hit vtec a couple of times recently when i did not see the leak. i took it to about 8k rpm. is the solenoid leaks going to affect my motor in anyway since i hit vtec with that leak?

Your VTEC system is Oil Dependent and it is very important to have a consistant oil supply/pressure to the VTEC Solenoid.
