white smoke from exhaust
Okay so I have a 97 ek with a 98 gsr (usdm) swap. On occasion I get white smoke from the exhaust, I did a compression test an got 180 on all four cylinders. Also Coolant has been leaking, but from where the firewall and heater hose connects. I also don't have any noticeable leaks around the head gasket.
Also have white smoke at WOT so maybe I am thinking valve seals, but anymore info will be much appreciated!

White smoke usually indicates the burning or condensating of water vapor.
Blue smoke is oil being burned.
Black smoke is fuel, usually when you are running rich.
Oh I know im not burning oil. I just was telling him that that could be a thing to think about too. and the losing oil would help confirm his suspensions of burning it off.

Well Im also not blowing thick white smoke. It happens periodically ill drive shift into second and white smoke will come out through the exhaust and continue when i accelerate after about 2 or 3 minutes itll stop. Also i have no overheating issues.
Could be the early stages of head gasket leakage. I would pull the spark plugs and inspect for any signs of coolant being burned. It's best to catch these things early.
