Default What fuel pump to choose?

I was looking for a fuel pump as my 1999 Honda Civic d16y7 needs one. Which one should I get?

That's the one I'm gonna get. I wouldn't really go with those cheap eBay brands.

Don't really have the money for a wallbro right now. What others are pretty good off the list I made which one would you use if you had to.

Factory replacement or upgrade? If you're hard up on funds junkyard. Honda fuel pumps rarely go bad.

I will gladly entertain any good reason for the OP to run that pump.

^^
Agreed

Walbro makes a 190l/h version thats a stock replacement for like 65 bucks if you search

that ebay thing doesnt even give any specs. That should be your 1st red flag.

Like everything with ebay, you get what you pay for. So buy that cheap crap for 20+ and when it doesnt work or it fails, then buy one we recommended. That way you can do the job twice and spend more $$

You can get a new Airtex pump with a warranty and new strainer for 50-70 bucks. No brainer there...

Coming back to this because I think mine is beginning to peter out.

What are some good options for a stock replacement? I don't need an upgraded pump, but the cost of the stock one just doesn't make financial sense ($243!)

I believe the stock ones are about 110Lph, but I see mixed information around.

Stock one from a junk yard, or a Walbro 190.

Good lookin out. I don't know why I didn't take a look at rockauto already. That's probably what I'll go with if I don't decide to jump up to the 190.

The parts stores are all wanting north of $100 for typical brands.

Don't the injectors limit the amount of fuel to the motor no matter how big the fuel pump is?

yes, for the most part. the walbro 255 flows too much fuel for the stock regulator to keep factory pressure levels though.
