Default 93 Civic Si Motor Upgrades?

So I recently sold my 93 CX Hatch with a b18b1 swap to my pops to pay some bills off. He gave me his 93 Si hatch, mostly stock with 290k on it. I obv am already missing the power and smoothness of the b18/LS tranny. What would you guys recommend as a good start other than another swap. I could possibly put a grand in the motor for starts. Car is in good shape just needs some love. HAHA. Thanks for any info....JJ

And spend entirely too much money.

Read the FAQ's sticky. This has been covered a hundred times, which is exactly why it's in the FAQ's sticky, and exactly why said sticky is there in the first place.

Swap, turbo or go home. Bolt on's will get you nowhere.

All motor is a waste, you will not make any power. Turbo or swap, and you can keep ac with a turbo.

It is a stock si w/ a d16z6 with nearly 300K on the clock. He had a B series hatch before so WHY would he leave this hella high mileage car stock?
DO not go "all motor" with it, you will never be happy. If you don't want to boost it just go for another B18b, however you can easily turbo it and keep the A/C for wifey and be more than happy with the outcome.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I will prob do another B18 swap and go GSR for a lil extra power. i really don't plan on turbo or supacharge da whip. 180 hp is fine in the EG hatch for me.
