Default Hide-away front license plate?

Im wondering if anyone has ever seen any "universal" solutions for hideaway license plates before. My body guy basically surprised me by shaving the front square off my front bumper and not im trying to figure out what to do with my license plate, because i work on military base and they wont let me on without one, so i want it hidden when im in town but need to be able to have it show when i go on base. Wouldnt have to be motorized, just some way i can quickly put it into position or something. Wondering if anyone has ever seen something like this for a decent price.

Put it on your dash, when you need to display it. Its a legal way to showcase a front plate.

Thats what everyone did up until a couple weeks ago the base cracked down on that and now it has to be on the front most end of the car.

Sucks because the city/state doesnt require a front one at all, but the base has their own rules once you enter :/ They wont even let you on without it out.

I found this for anyone else who may be interested. $50 for the manual or $130 for the electronic with a key fob. Not bad at all.

Yeah, that looks cool. Did catch if it was manual. Think it is.... Be nice if it was electric in case you get pulled over by a cop. Lol

This.
If you get caught at the gate with retractable plates or "poppers" because you forgot to push the switch to put it down prepare your angus, its going to be a rough ride.

On a side note they cant require you to have a front plate, my Oklahoma plated EK and my NC plated EF never were even issued a second plate.

The manual option retractor should work fine for me. Only time ill put it away is if i will be off base for an extended amount of time or parked for an extended amount of time, car shows, etc. Most of the time i have no issue with it being up. Just dont want to drill into my freshly shaved and painted front bumper or ruin the paint with zip ties.
