OBDII GSR - ECU questions
Running a 2000 GSR B18C1 with Skunk2 intake manifold. Just realized my PCT got wasn't there and a P1Z-325 was put in it's place. Wondering if P30-A02 will work and if so, what might be any differences I might notice.

It'll work better than what you have, but it's still going to run lean. Fuel and timing maps are a bit off.

Is the P30 JDM as well? If it isn't the USDM is going to look for all the extra sensors such as EVAP, 2nd 02, CKF etc. Are you in a state that doesn't allow an OBD1 ECU for emissions? Because really neither of those ECUs are made for that setup.
Kind of was expecting that it would run lean.
I'm in WA, in a county without emissions, but I don't have the cash to get another ECU right now. CRX daily got its window smashed.
*Note to self* do not move to Washington. That's some seriously shitty luck to lose an ECU and get your window smashed.
Oh, this month has just been wonderful. Anniversary of my dad's passing in a few days too.

You can find an obd2 p72 just about anywhere.. you'd need a jumper harness as well which is something else you can find just about anywhere. you can run this ecu with the intake at least until you tune it and get a p28 or something.
Also P1Z is rare ecu obd2a to run b16 in obd2a car with no jumper harness. You can sell that pretty easily I'd imagine.

Don't worry about the ECU. It's nothing you'd have to worry about. Pretty sure the window was all about homeless people walking through the neighborhood. Make sure you have an alarm and be sure to use it. Mine wasn't armed the night my glass got smashed.
A P72 isn't really right either once you remove the factory intake manifold. A P73 ITR ECU will probably be closest, but tat the very least find something from a B-series vtec and get a chipped and tuned OBD1 ECU when you can.

Itr ecu will create other problems and is honestly a waste of money IMO unless you have an itr. It wont run right, timing will be off and will waste fuel, not to mention other things plugs sensors that p73 ecu looks for.
