so i connected the vtec on my d15b 94 engine and i went obd 0 to obd 1 one with he jumper harness and obd 1 distributor harness as well alnog with a p28. my vtec wont work because I'm missing my O2 sensor. all was fine on the freeway and smashing down the street. I was exiting the freeway and when i tried clutching back into 2nd gear it wouldnt go past 3k rpm, and to add to that no gears go past 3k rpm. i put a new distibuto and all the jumper harnesses are new the only thing used was the ecu. HELP PLEASE!

 

install an o2 sensor. or chip it and get it tuned. those are your only two options

Soooo, were you going to find out WHY the check engine light was on? Or just drive it until it ***** up?

 

It's been on for the last 10 months because Vtec wasn't connected and it's still on ecu needs to be chipped, wanted to know if it was cool to drive to the shop to get chipped.
