Icon2 flywheel swap

Okay hondatech members I got a situation with my flywheel
I have a b16a3 and I swap my flywheel with another b series one and now when
I go to crank the motor the starter sounds like its grinding like it not fitting in the teeth
Of the flywheel I need help if anyone know.....thanks alot..and yes starter
Works fine got it checked

I'm not sure if the flywheel was suppose to match the motor in any way. But the scraping could be the throw out bearing. Did you get it torqued to spec? The basics like that?

Yea the bolt are torqued the motor dosent turn when I turn the key all you hear is the starter but the starter aint turning the engine

So the motor doesn't turn but the starter does? If that's true either your flywheel isn't even touching the starter, your starter is too weak to move the motor and needs to be replaced, or your engine is seized. It is probably a wire that's not hooked up correctly or something simple though.

The starter is good I think that I need to align the starter to flywheel im
Not sure ever since I change that fly wheel and clutch its sounds like
It want to turn the flywheel but the teeth dont enter the flywheel pattern

There is no alignment for the starter to flywheel. It either fits or it doesn't. Its a cog. The teeth mesh together. That's all. If the teeth aren't in the flywheel that means the starter isn't bolted all the way down.

do u know if all b series flywheels are interchangable i think they are then it should work i dont know im gonna have to remove my tranny to see if itd the same *** my old one damn another mission lol

Thanks I got the problem solved it was ground its cuz my tranny was painted
