EK B20 with d16 compressor hmmmmm
ok i put a b20b4 in our 96 hatchback. I was told i could use a p30 b16 ac bracket and i did that. Houston we got a problem. The bracket fits the b20 and yes the compressor is bollted to the bracket but with only 2 bolts, and it happens to be the 2 bolts closest to the drivers side so ya know what i am gonna say next. When i put the ac belt on everything was fine until it was time to lock down the idler i notice a 1/2mm maybe a 1mm gap occurring between the compressor and the bracket. This is not cool with me...
So, Does anyone know what compressor bracket i can use that will allow me to use the d16y7 original ac compressor bolted to the b20 but have more than 2 lousy bolts holding it on. I have seen some people say just use a crv one but also see people say it is the same as the p30 bracket.
TIA and hopefully someone knows which bracket i should be using. I am willing to trade this damn p30 bracket for the one i need.

I need a o2 extension from you.
96 d16y7 car now has a b20 and my o2 is down on the downpipe now rather than in the manifold right near the head like it was on the d16y7
can you help me? i know the connector on the ENGINE harness is a female so the end of my extension harness where it plugs into the enigne harness would need to be a male. and the end of my extension harness where the o2 plugs in needs to be female because my o2 is a male.
20 bucks shipped?

del sol bracket doesnt work. if i tighten the belt the a/c compressor is gonna have its ears ripped off and i will have to but a compressor.
CRV bracket is what i need because i gotta have more than 2 bolts holding the compressor on. PS isnt a issue because the car is a manual steering car.
P30 isn't a Del Sol AC bracket and wont work. It's from a '99 - '00 Si or JDM B16A with B-series. P54 is the Del Sol bracket.
The easiest thing to do is use a CR-V AC bracket, it's cheaper than the Del Sol version. You can keep PS with this bracket on a B20 (and I think in a B18) it doesn't work on a B16A due to the shorter deck height.
