Let me get right to it, a friend of mine has a 92 integra w/ b18a and is having problems with the car jerking after warm start ups. Just to clarify, when I say warm start ups I mean like stopping at the store, turning the car off and starting it back when coming outta the store. It goes away after awhile tho. He was told it was his clutch going out and has already replaced his clutch so I'm trying to figure out the problem for him from someone that knows what they're talking about before he spends more money on unneeded parts. I can get more info if needed. Sorry for such little infos guys. If anyone has an idea or knows what's going on please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

 

That is most likely the Spark plug wires, have you checked them? or replaced them recently? Good Luck!

 

Seriously? I'll have to get him to check them out. I told him I wanted to drive the car to get a better idea of what's going on.

He did mention messing with the tb some. He said he tried adjusting the screw in the side and it not doing anything awhile back. He was trying to get his idle rpm up alittle at the time I think.

I'll get a better description of the jerking as well.

 

The jerking he says comes when you let off the clutch and you don't give the car any gas most of the time. He says sometimes you can give it alittle gas and it'll jerk but it smoothes out.

 

Alittle update. The owner mentioned plugging the hole in tb and the idle being normal. I'm not sure if he's talking about the iac or not but that's the only hole inside the tb right? He was wondering if he could still drive without the tps or iac connected. I wasn't sure what to tell him.
