Im not lowering my car, what wheels
hey i picked up a 98 hatch cx 5spd for $200, this is was me getting back in to civic's after i sold my baby - 98 el, second owner
any who, ive been replacing all kinds of stuff - brakes, ball joints, lines, tie rods, body work - to get it back to a good running cond.
i want to get rid of my poopy 13" steelies and need help figuring out a wheel set up, with that being said
i'm not lowering it (roads here are ****)
no low profiles
would like to fill the wheel wells nicely with no rubbing
and most importantly id like to have a real nice stance with flush rims to fenders
i know theres lots of posts of setups - but i havent found one without lowering the car
also love the look of old schools http://www.xxrwheels.com/xxr_002.shtml
thanks for reading, this is my first post here, or anywheres really

you wanna get rid of the gap between your tire and wheel well without lowering your car...impossible basically.
17" and higher wheels wont look right on your civic, and it wont ride like stock either

One of my friends had a 96 or 97 hatch with 18's and they scrubbed on sharp turns. He downgraded to 13's. Just a fair heads-up that 18" is too big. I'm thinking 16" is going to be nice.
@mike. Thanks, I didn't really think about it that way. I guess I just wanted to fill the hole better, not completely close it off. But I get what your saying.
@triple. Thank you for the heads up. I def won't go to 17's or 18's.
If I got 15's or 16's. I just want to know how wide and what offset to have. With being able to turn all the way with no rub.

OP already said he isn't lowering. Also, 17" wheels kill any semblance of torque the D series motor pretends to have.
PS: You don't have an EK, you have an EJ6.
