90 Honda Accord sudden dieing problem
Ok so I just bought this 90 honda accord from a guy that said he was driving this car and id suddenly died on him and he towed it home and hasnt started since. Well I towed to home and tried to start it and it started up with out problem, it did die twice but has started and run since but I here is what I have noticed so far
1. the oil when I changed it was super black
2. there is oil in the spark plug channels
3. the spark plug wires that I tried to get from autozone for this car to replace them do not fit (so it it a possibility the engine or distrbutor has been replaced)
So Im trying to figure out what to investigate to try to fix the dieing problem on this car

Negligence on the POs previous owners part.
Common enough problem on high mileage cars. You will need to replace the O ring gaskets, top and bottom, for the spark plug tubes and a new valve/cam cover gasket.
Not quite. Unless using Sumitomo(Honda dealer) or NGK(RockAuto has good prices) brands every other spark plug wire brand does not fit correctly, usually you may get them to initially bite but the plug wire will pop off.
To confirm engine, stand in front of car with hood open, look to left of exhaust manifold, below the water outlet, on the bellhousing of the engine, and on your car below a 'window' to the flywheel, will be a large pad with numbers ~1" tall. It will be 'F22A1' or 'F22A4'
If the spark plug tubes are oil fouled it may simple be the spark is insufficient or being grounded out by the oil fouling.

Thanks Mad Mike I will start with the spark plug o rings and valve cover gasket and see how it runs now when I do that would I need to adjust the valves after putting everything back together ?
When replacing the rocker arm shaft assembly it is good practice to check for the correct clearance between the rocker tip and valves. You may not need to adjust the valves if they are awith-in spec, but you should check them.
