gauge cluster problems-tach and fuel not working plus other quirks
my car is a 89 si. the wiring harness i have is not the one that came with the car so im not sure what year it is to be exact. i was told it was from a 89-91 but im not 100% sure if thats true. i do know that it is a si harness and not hf
-check engine light works
-clock doesnt work
-brake warning light doesnt shut off unless i turn on the headlights
-turn signal indicators work
-high beam indicator doesnt work
-hatch indicator is always on except when i depress brake switch it turns off
-door/seat belt warning light stay on all the time also
-cig lighter doesnt stay in when i push it in, so im not sure if it works. when i hold it in for a long time, it doesnt get hot though
also, my reverse light wires are not hooked up to anything. not sure what to do with them. is there a switch that they plug into on my b16 cable trans?

I think the 88-89 and 90-91 may be different though.
-check engine light works Is it the bulb? Is the ECU stock and OBDO?
-clock doesnt work Could be a wiring issue behind the dash or fuses
-brake warning light doesnt shut off unless i turn on the headlights This sounds like some wires were mixed and matched.

Also, the reverse should be on the transmission near the clutch cable. It's 2 plugs.
im assuming that requires removing the entire dash?
I don't want to tell you to take apart the whole dash for nothing. Check the relays and fuses first. Maybe take off the hood around the cluster and look for cut wires. See if someone before you has messed with anything.
The wiring info you need is in here
