Wiring issues
I have a 93 Civic hatchback CX. I have some electrical issues going on.
1. My interior light does not work with the door open or with the switch in the on position.
2. The door chime does not work.
3. My right rear turn signal works fine as long as the light switch is in the off position. When I turn on the parking lights or headlights the signal light will turn on and remain solid. If I try to use the right signal with the lights on it will do nothing. The left signal works as it should.
4. Turn Signal indicators do not illuminate in the gage cluster.
5. "Brake" light stays illuminated on the cluster.
What I have done about the problems. I checked all the fuses already.
1. Replaced the bulb, checked for power at the switch, checked continuity in door switches, also checked for power where the dome light harness plugs in under the dash. No power.
2. I replaced my ICU with a known working unit. As stated before I checked continuity of the door switch.
3. Replaced all bulbs. Also bought and installed a new headlight and turn signal switch.
4.They didn't work in the factory cluster. I installed a AP1 cluster and they still don't work.
5. Did not really know what to check. I'm using a Wilwood brake master cylinder.
A back story on the car. I bought it and never got to drive it. It had gobs of cobbled wiring that I removed. I also completely shaved the bay and relocated the bulkheads (2 on passenger side and 1 on driver)
Pictures of alarm wiring and the mess under the dash. And when it was all removed and put back to stock.
I don't have a factory service manual either. I tried to download one but I can not open the file.

Re: Wiring issues
Also i forgot to add that there is no heat or air and all the controls and wiring have been removed. Nothing cut just unplugged.
And the #3 fuse has no power on either side of it.

Re: Wiring issues
The factory service manual isn't that clear or plain for the wiring.
You should look on ebay for the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual. From what I gathered, it is much clearer to follow and do wiring with.
The Factory Service Manual doesn't even show what wire is what in each of the connector plugs.

Re: Wiring issues
Another option is to go to the salvage yards and rape the cabin harnesses from the same year, model and trim car and put them into yours.
Take pictures as you go about removing so you have clear resources for install.
You didn't exactly say how you went about putting the wiring back to stock. If you made your own harnesses without an ETM or FSM or both that definitely could be part of the problem.

Re: Wiring issues
I didn't make my own harness. I just removed all the wiring for the aftermarket alarm, botched radio wires, and where the Po tried to wire up door locks. I actually got the door chime, dome light, and my wipers working correctly. So now I just need to figure out the issue with the signal light and find out why the brake light indicator stays on.
