I have an '86.
+the speedometer rarely works, but all the other gauges work. is this just a wiring problem and how can I fix it?
+when the driver's side door is open the car beeps constantly even though the lights are off and the keys are out. any ideas?

hahha, I had the same problems with my 86. I tried everythign to get the speedo worked, the only thing that made it work was having the ebrake up enough to trip the ebrake light but not put any pressure on the brakes. What i did was just took the light bulb out so the brake light wouldnt come on and just rigged up the ebrake switch to stay on. Thats way the speedo always worked.
