Default Ran at Englishtown today

I feel like my car is pretty damn slow. I ran with I/H/E high flow cat, short shifter, timing advanced to 18 degrees, and 15" kosei k1's mounted on drag radials. My best time was
R/T-.423
60'-2.437
1/8-9.622
1/4- 14.729
MPH-96.23

I guess I just need more practice

actually if you practice your launching, you would have a way better reaction time... and a faster 1/4 time.. i think, so ya... practice makes perfect

.423 is a red light
i used to run 13.90s allday on drag radials almost stock
slip launching at 6k rpms and leaving in the 3rd redlight netted me on avg a.55 to .6 r/ts
also lots of practice

Englishtown altitude?
Weather conditions?
Bad launch?
Traction?
Shifting points?
Wheight?
Got tuning?

...so many factors.

work the launch....lower your tire psi, launch a tad higher....you can get your 60 down to at least 2.1/2.2 on streets, and obviously going by that your car is capable of low 14's

that's some horrible 60's. With NItto NT450's at normal pressure in my hatch, my best 60 foot was 2.38. Get that down. What is it?- like 1/10 off your 60 foot is = to 2 or 3/10' off your quarter???

and if you let one of your friends drive, you might get to drive thier mid 13 sec car

btw, does 116 octane shifting at the rev limitter help or hurt your time when driving a type R?

116 octane will kill your converter if you run it to much.
