Default Quickest time on Drag radials??

what is the quickest time with a fwd car on dot radial tyre??

Im running a set of BFG drag radials 235/60/15 and am making 700whp on a car that weighs 2750lbs with me in it.
Im trying to see if a high 9 low 10 is possible.

Quickest time on road legal tyres in the UK for FWD is 11.7 I believe.

We are way behind over here!

JIM HUCK'S RAN 10.87 @ 141.43 ON 225/50/15 BFG G-FORCE DRAG RADIAL. WE DID THIS AT LAST SEASON'S NDRA BRADENTON EVENT IN THE FINALS, AND QUALIFIED WITH A 10.90 @ 140. JIM'S CRX HAS FULL INTERIOR, ALL THE FACTORY GLASS AND SHEET METAL, ON A STRAIGHT LS. NON-VTEC

sorry about the caps, i just noticed.

Why would clutchmasters run a car that was that fast in a street tire class? I still just dont understand it. Im guessing it still has the GT42R on it?

Cool, so a mid 10 isnt impossible. Here in Australia the sport front wheel drive class only allows the use of dot radial tyre and the record is a 12.1@118.You have to run full interior, glass and exhaust ect.

The 11.4 was on slicks, he did 11.7 on radials.

Hi,
I'm Cacá Daud from Brazil. I have been looking all around and I think I may have one of the fatest street radial FWD car. It's a 680 whp Chevy Astra (european C20LET motor). I'm sponsored by Goodyear in Brazil and the rules in my class are basically that you have to run STREET radial Brazilian made tires (I use Goodyear Eagle Ventura 205/60r15 !!!) complete full interior and glasses.
Here are the times. 11,189 @ 218 Km/h

i went a 11.58 @ 127 at the end of last season, would have been faster but ran out of RPM's and pegged the revlimit for 200ft across the line. Deff not the fastest, but plenty fast for me.

Well I took the car out last night,I only did 2 passes(there were heaps of cars there)
1st pass was a 12.9@128 with 16 psi boost and a heap of no traction untill 4th gear I buttoned off early too
2nd pass on the same boost and hardly any throttle and a 12.06 @134
so its time to look at the suspension set up and Im thinking a low 11 high 10 is definatly a possibility on full power, if I can get it too the ground.
