ECU shut car off?
i have a jdm h22 turbo accord w/P28 ecu tuned on neptune. I was driving normally exiting the highway then car shuts off. i turn the key.. all the lights turn on but no fuel pump buzz and it doesn't start. i had to tow the car home. i checked the fuel pump fuse, i changed the fuel pump main relay and hoped it was the problem. i turned the key and still no fuel pump buzz and it didnt start. its still a new walbro 255lph fuel pump with less than 1.5k miles. so i decided swap to the stock ecu to see if the fuel pump worked and it did and even started the car. I opened up the ecu and i see no burn or loose chip, the solder points all look intact through the circuit board. Any ideas why this happened or what i should do to fix this?? Any info or links is helpful.. thanks
in doing lots of research, i found that a common problem is the injector drivers go bad qm3,2, and 1. i dont see any burn solder points..will it always show anything burnt if bad? if i replace those will it mess up the tune on the ecu?
Read my post above. Your probally wasting your time with the injector driver's. They wont cause the fuel pump to not prime. Try c14 first as it is the most common failure in the ecu.
