Default 97 Civic blue smoke coming from exhaust ?

I noticed it while I was driving I saw blue smoke coming from the exhaust. Is that because of my straight exhaust and no catalytic converter or is it the head gasket ?

blue-ish smoke is typically oil do a compression test then a wet one post both numbers. Not having a cat would make it more noticeable but I ran my integra with out a cat or resonator or muffler no smoke.....

Bad head gasket smoke is white. The blue smoke is oil it's making his way to the combustion chamber i.e. Valve seals, piston rings, crack valve guides or even a faulty evap. system. Do a compression and leak down test this is the best way to found your problem.
