Front right ceramic scraping off the rotor.
The car is a 2001 integra GS with 165,000 miles.
13 months ago, I bought these rotor/ceramic brake pad pack from this exact seller:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Rear-Kit-POWERSPORT-DRILLED-SLOTTED-Brake-Rotors-CERAMIC-Pads-/390456816413?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AIntegra%7CYear%3A2001&hash=item5ae90a331d&vxp=mtr
After 12 to 15,000 miles, the front rotor is starting to deteriorate.
I would just like to make sure if it is normal for ceramic brakes to erode this quickly? Of thos 12,000+ miles, around 1/3rd was in the city/traffic jams.
The outer part of the rotor is scratched, and makes noise when I brake.
Here is a picture:

How long should expect the ceramic brake to last? As well as the rotor, if the ceramics are replaced on before they start scratching the rotors?
Edit: I have removed the attached image, since it's a 1280 pixel, its full size showed up on this post, making it more of an inconvenience. I have relied upon imgur, now.

Buy crappy equipment, get what you pay for.
Any decent ceramic pad won't damage the rotors like that. You either have very abrasive pads, or very weak rotors.
I'm going to assume that you did not perform a proper pad bedding procedure, which would only make things worse. Without the bedded pad layer, all of your braking force is generated through abrasion. You need the bedded layer for adhesion based force generation.
Stop going with fancy looking useless brake equipment. Buy a good set of blank rotors, run a name brand pad, perform a bedding procedure, and never worry about this again.

But I'm not sure which brake pads to buy. I'd like to buy them only & of course not have to worry about this ordeal for another 20,000 miles.
I paid a mechanic to install the pad & rotors, so "proper pad bedding procedure" is totally new to me.

Lol just my rotors cost x2 as much as that whole set...
You get what you pay for, hawk makes good pads as for rotors brembo or stoptech or EBC

Alright Brembo seems to be a wise option, $80 for the front 2:

Now I'm not sure about brake pads. Again, I'm more concerned about lifespan, as opposed to performance.
I'm hoping I'll have another car by the next 20,000 miles.

Bedding pads has nothing to do with install. It is performed after install is complete. Most of us would probably sue a mechanic who attempted to do such...

It seems I'll be buying front Brembo rotors
, & Hawk ferro-carbon brake pads. Hopefully they're worth it.
Anyone can feel free to criticize or give helpful input.
The 2nd post of this thread mentions "proper pad bedding procedure", should I worry about that/mention that to the mechanic?
I'm hopoing/guessing I shouldn't be that concerned about the rears?
I replaced all 4 rotors pads 13 months ago. Only the front right is the culprit thus far, but I intend to replace the front left as well with the front right.

looking at this huge pic.... surprised no said anything, but, did your mechanic clean and re grease the sliders? if it's only one side, id suspect something wrong with the sliders.
I'm not sure what the brake slider is, but i'll definitely make note of greasing, to the mechanic. Thanks for the note, & everyone else for the helpful comments/suggestions.

he edited his OP just saw that now, yah looks like my old rotors when I wore the pads down to nothing really lol. I greased my sliders when I put everything back together.
It turns out a contributing factor for the rotor/brake damage on the front right was due to a stuck/damage brake slider pin.
