Z6 swap in to an EG6 hatchback problem
I have searched about this and I cant find the answer. if my answer has already been answered then please post the link to it.
I just swaped an z6 in to my 95 eg hatchback, it previously had a b7 so it was pretty much a straight drop in excep for 2 things.
1. the down pipe off the exhaust manifold has a different bolt pattern than the d15b7 engine. but i just re used the b7 manifold until i get a header and a full exahust on it.
2. the driver side motor mount its different. meaning the bolts on the b7 are further apart, and the bolts on the z6 engine are almost closer together.
I ordered a new mount from advance auto for a 95 civic with the 1.6L (dumbed down for auto part people)
Got the motor mount and it looks exactly the same from the B7....
question is what motor mount do I need to use then?
help please this is the only reason im not able to drive my car.

You need a driver's side mount from a '94 - '95 Civic VX/EX/Si or '94 - '01 Integra to use that style post mount. It will be an aluminum mount.
You'll also need the two nuts and one bolt to hold it on, the two post style use larger nuts and don't have the bolt.

I ordered the new mount for the civic 2 door vx/ex/si and nope same deal, i ordered it from a 95 civic 4 door ex and nope same deal.
The B7 had that style (post style) the difference is how wide apart are the bolts from each other.
im just going to modify the old base with a drill and make it fit. ugh
This is the mount you want:

It's not going to work the way you think. Those studs are a fair bit smaller than the 2 post version, they're also a lot longer and will need spacers, the mount will probably be in or out too far to line up properly as well. Expect to break the studs after a while or tear the mount.
