So my d16z6 threw a rod. RIP life goes on. I picked up a low milage SOHC ZC for cheap and swapped my z6 head and intake manifold on it.

My problem is the stupid upper driver side motor mount (the one thats right under the cam sproket). The mount connects to the side of the engine between the timing belt with two bolts - one on top of the other. Now this is the funny part - my z6 mount bolts onto the motor fine but its tilted about 10-15 degrees clockwise. So then when you mount on the upper part that connects to the frame its sideways and trys to push the engine sideways - and it puts alot of pressure on the mount.

So i digged around in the garage and found a 89 CRX Si engine mount - it doesnt work right. (worth a shot)

I have a y7 block - it has a different bolt pattern on the motor side. I have a D15b7 and it looks like its tilted just like the ZC/d16a6.

My upper side mount is different then my friends 95 civic EX (also with a Z6) which is weird - i dont get that.

So do i need to get a upper d15b7 side motor mount?

Does anybody have any idea? What motor mount do i need to make the ZC work my 93 civic SI hatch?

ummm....use the d16z mount bracket....on the sohc zc

you cant! It bolts fine - but when you use the z6 mount its tilted 10-15 degrees clockwise. So then the mount is all sideways and torques the motor all weird.
