I just order a 55w 5000k digital hid kit. I'm wondering if a relay harness is required, the item list said it didn't come with it unless in the specific package. Integras were not in the this list.

 

lol im not a hid expert or anything but i've never had anything to do with a relay when installing hids

 

No relay needed, just plug them up like normal.

The only reason I think I would need one is because I received a email saying, improper installation setup could result in long term expensive damages. They send a diagram specific to my order, this diagram showed a relay harness in it. Why would I get a diagram with this in it if I don't need it?

 

Because they arent going to check what car everyone drives that buys a set of lights from them, so they just send the email to everyone. Thats what we have fuses for, to protect things from voltage spikes.

Might anyone have a diagram with out the relay harnes. Im pretty new to car mechanics. I have only worked on my car when needed radiator change, brakes, cv joint ect. So headlights and electronicics I don't know much about.

don't have to remove the bumper but it gives it a tucked look.
