Default 1.5l burns oil after head swap???

I have a 95 civic d15 that lost compression on 1 cylinder. I pulled the head and found one of the exhaust valves broke a piece off like a piece of pie was cut out of it. Swapped out two valves and checked both head and block for warpage which there was none. Put it all back together with new gaskets and now I have blowby on all cylinders... Reasoning??? No symptoms of head gasket issue in cooling system. Why would the short block all of a sudden start this? Thanks

I've had it happen before. Put a headgasket in and it immediately started burning 3L or so of oil everyday. Ran it for about 4 days and replaced the engine. I never could figure out why it happened.
