Default Poormans Build

Got my b16 head, GSR block and OEM headgasket for super cheap. Been looking for internals. Decided with Brian Crower springs and steel retainers, Ferrara 5000 series high comp valves, and sk2 stage 2 cams. As for the bottom end, I'm doing forged rods with Nippon p30 pistons, balanced and micro polished crank . Does anyone have experience with this exact setup? Just looking for opinion's

Aftermarket rods use floating wrist pins which require the pistons to have wrist-pin locks. P30 pistons do not have pin locks. You will need to either (1) use stock rods with your P30 pistons, (2) modify the P30 pistons to accept locks, or (3) modify your aftermarket rods to a press-fit pin configuration.
