Icon2 Fog light wiring question

I recently purchased one of those fog light kits of ebay for my 96 civic ex. Right now I have everything ran wire wise, the main power wire from the battery to the relay (with a clean ground) then the power wire into the cabin where it plugs into the switch. I have the yellow wire/brown plug from the switch into the fuse box on a spade connector that DOES have power. Then the 3rd and last wire on the switch is a blue wire. What is that supposed to do? Its apparently not a ground as I tried that just in case.

I am getting power at all the fog light ends and at the switch, but will not light. What am I missing here guys? I gave up messing with it, and those little black bug things that continually bite were getting on my nerves to boot.

the only fuse is the one in-line in between the battery and the relay.

Here is a picture of the harness from the switch, I tried it as a ground and still did not work.

Ahh i remember that one. I believe if you go down behind the fuse block (under the drivers side dash) you will find an empty accessory connector. A brown connector taped up with blue OEM tape and tucked away. Put that in there i believe.

well if like the guy above me said that goes plugged their he might be correct as for the blue wire if you tried grounding it and does not work their only two other possibles use for that wire!

one is 12 volts constant
or ignition 12 volts!

so check the color or the cable that runs to your positive 12 volts in your battery if its red and like you said you connected it make sure sometimes sometime of cable running to the fog light switch if it does well then you answer is the the second choice!

but from the looks of it it might be a ground cable if you have a voltage meter this might be easier because double looking at your picture it seems as if your yellow plug is your 12 volts constant and your red is going to be your 12 volts ignition so the blue has to be ground the easiest way to do it is plug the yellow plug and check what your getting from it refering to ground or power!
