ok guys so i have a weird ticking sounds coming from the intake side of my head i thought it might be a valve adjustment but the ticking is not constant as when i rev it just a bit not too much the ticking goes away and then it comes back at idle but the same goes for idle it comes and goes not very constant any inputs guys

kinda sounds like a rod bearing

 

Its good no rod knock its different than a rod knock its somewhere in the head area

 

then pull the valve cover and check valve lash
