92 Hatch wont start
I have a 92 hatchback stock everything with a d15z1 engine. As of right now it will not start. I was driving casually around doing errands when my car suddenly lost some power, and started to *putt* around. Sounded almost like a lawn mower and would make like a popping sound. So I parked it not wanting to hurt the engine. Looked at the spark plug wires one seemed to be bad so I bought new spark plug wires and spark plugs. When I changed the wires it would not start up again, but it will turn and crank trying to start but will not fire up. I have checked the order many times of the wires and replaced the spark plugs. Also, oil needed to be changed so I went she'd and did that while it was sitting in the garage. I have no idea what it could be and any help would be great. Thank you.
this happen to me before. it was my thermostat ground, it came loose and engine puttered. sometimes it would start and sometime it wouldnt. but yes as ron j said check to see if your cel light works

I've found with every Honda I've had that did that same thing I replaced the distributor and car is up and running.. Though if you feel like taking the distributor apart you may find that its just the coil, cap or even just the rotor. However I use a site that I just this wk got a gsr distributor for $78. no shipping brand new still in original package. My car started right up! hope that helps
