hey guys im new to Honda tech and working on cars in general. I am planning on putting a d16z6 head into my 2000 ek hatch. I know my car is obd2b and I need a conversion harness but could someone give me a parts list for this swap? I have been searching and couldn't find one. thank you!

 

so far I know I need the harness, headstud bolts, y8 head gasket, y8 timing belt

 

Why not use a Y8 head?

but here is a run down on what you will need.

z6 or y8 head
y8 or z6 intake manifold
timing belt for a y8 or z6 depending on head
y8 head gasket
intake gasket depending on which one u use
new head bolts or arp had studs
anti freeze
engine oil (recommended)
spark pugs
spark plug wires

i would get also

new water pump
new timing belt tensioner
new exhaust gasket
new valve cover gasket
heater hoses, because regardless of intake you will need to extend some
unless u use the shitty y7 intake
new oil pump (my opinion not necessary)
