Default Best Cam upgrade from Crower 63401T's

I know cam selection can be a dark art, with many variables. My setup is as follows:

2.0 LS/VTEC
84x89mm
9:1 CP with upgraded pins
Eagle Rods with L19 rod bolts
Sleeved
GSR main cap Girdle
ARP's

B16A head (mild clean-up)
Supertech Valvesprings + Ti Retainers (SPR-H100DR 85 lb)
Supertech Valves +0.5mm
Crower 63401T-2 cams
Stock B16A intake manifold

Holset Super HX40 (69 lb/min)
1.25" diameter twin scroll manifold
3" downpipe and full exhaust

E97
1600cc injectors
Full blown dual hanger with 2x DW 300 pumps
Upgraded fuel lines

The car has made 540whp on a Dynapack at 22 psi at 5500 ft elevation. Power did not increase past 22psi.

I now want to change the cams and intake manifold to increase power to around 650whp. Options I'm considering:

GSC T1
Skunk Tuner 2's
BC Stage 2 (NA cam)
CTR's (although hard to find a decent set)

Victor X intake manifold

Please help

OP,

Are you sure your turbo is capable of 600+ whp? You seem to be right at the limit. Can you post the boost plot.

Those turbo cams aren't helping but at that elevation you seem to be close to be limit of your turbo. Cam upgrade might help some but not a whole lot.

Tuner 2's don't do well with boost. Stage 2 be an cams I would bother with. Go with skunk2 tuner 1's or gsc t1 cams if you are going to replace yours.

I will get the boost plot from the tuning shop

When you guys say I am close to the limit of the turbo, do you mean airflow vs PR required or something else ?

The Turbo's compressor map shows that it can support +- 65 lb/min even at a PR of 4

Thank you for the replies

The air flow number you are quoting is at elevation and std conditions. By my estimation, you are at 60 lbs/min which is the limit at your elevation.

So in other words 69 lb/min is at 0 elevation, at my elevation the air is +- 15% less dense so the airflow number drops by 15% ?

Is my understanding correct ?
