new distributor! but...

Default new distributor! but...

put a new distributor on my 95 accord (2.2 4 cyl) and now its running sluggish when im in 1st gear. (its an automatic) what did i do wrong!

Your timing is probably off. Have you checked it to see if its within spec?

I bet the timing is off. Get you a timing gun and check and adjust. I once changed my timing to 0 degrees not knowing and it ran ruggish. Changed it back to 12-15, all was well.

its possible to put the distributor shaft 180 degrees off if you try to jam it into the cam

yeah it was the timing belt, Car feels amazing now lol
