Default b16a tranny or clutch problem???

so I have an ek hatch that i got back in January in a trade and since i got it, something in the tranny grinds/scratches when the car engine brakes. if its in any gear besides reverse, something makes a weird scratching noise when i let go of the gas pedal. at first i thought it was my front lip scraping but its not. some one told me it was the throwout bearing and i changed it and nothing. Any Ideas???

are you sure it is coming from the transaxle? If it is coming from the trans then it is an internal problem that requires you open it up. I'd inspect all other spinning parts before going that route including the brakes and suspension

Sorry I couldn't get back to you guys. But I have been talking to a few other mechanics and I'm being told it could be my pressure plate.... definitely not my input shaft bearing and yes its coming from the tranny I can even feel it in the shift linkage a little
