Non Honda but new pb on my sportbike
Although I do wish I had the funds to finish up my all motor b series drag car, I have a 2007 Suzuki gsxr 1000 that I run in the mean time. It was cheap to put together and it's plenty fun. Better than just spectating.
The engine is all stock, unmodified Ecu, stock clutch, aftermarket muffler. Aftermarket swing arm 12" longer than stock, lowered, air shifter with on board compressor and I dropped the gearing.
Before Sunday my best on it was a 9.22@145.
My best 60' on it was a 1.41 on a stock clutch, after that wore out I replaced it with aftermarket clutch plates and wasn't able to be consistent on it for an entire season. It's finally worn to the point where I can ride it like before. Sunday air temp was just over 50* but there was a quick 16 1/8 mile event event at my local track so track prep was on point.
I was able to run a 9.15 @152
Normally I run my tire at about 10psi cold, I decided to jump to 12 cold and I was trapping a lot better.
Next step is to change a few more things, try to dial the suspension in a little more, loose a few lbs and get it down to the 8s consistently.

Short video. My buddy in the far lane carried the front tire about 3 foot in the air past the 60'.
Sadly the kid that took the video passed away in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon.

I was talking to my buddy who is an engineer and works for Brocks racing, said they only use stock clutch plates and steels in their bikes for drag racing. I know if your using barnette clutches they have been known shed a lot of material, sludge and collect in your oil system causing catastrophic failures.
