Gas dumping problem b16
Hey guys. Shout outs to the honda massive!!!! they call me tr1t0n, n im happy to be here **woot** **woot**
Unfortunately i start with a problem. I just bought myself a 1994 integra with a b16 in it.
The car was dumping gas (less than 12 mpg when cruising), so I got the p28 ecu it came with chipped then tuned. I felt a sweet increase in power but still no improvement in gas mileage. I decided to try another reputable tuner but the problem still persists.
the only engine upgrades on the car are:
-emusa 255 gas pump
-4-2-1 headers dc sports
stock fpr, stock injectors.......im at a loss right now and wud appreciate sum assistance

You didnt mention having a wideband on the car. You do have one right?
Thats some really nasty milage and it makes me think you have stuck injectors or a bad o2 sensor, or just a really nasty tune

with a bigger fuel pump, you may want to get a fuel pressure regulator to adjust your fuel pressure. Or at least a fuel pressure gauge to see what your pressure is at.
i'm going with nasty tune, the 255lph pump would/t make you run rich considering you still have stock FPR and injectors. try to find a virgin ECU or removing the chip if you can.
B16 in a teg ? :shug: not even once torque of a d16...

I really dont know what else to do
. I thought it was the tune, so tried a different tuner, still having the same issue. BTW, this is my work car....siiiiigh

Can I get a FACEPALM?!
SERIOUSLY?
he "tuned" your car with no wideband gauge at all?
Thats just a basemap for a car that isnt yours, meaning, its ****.
Try a virgin ecu, bet that fixes it. I dont remember what that code number is for

Apologies for the late updates. Work has been getting the best of me....

Much thanks man, problem resolved by changing the dizzy and I also converted the internal coil to an external coil (used a coil pack off a spare nissan sr20 engine i had). All is well now thanks for all who assisted.
word to the m4xwellmurd3r fellow???!! if u dont have anything meaningful to say , its best u say nothing.
