Intalled New IM on Boosted Hatch But problems
Okay guys here is the rundown on my car. If you need any more info please ask.
B16 Head
-Supertech Springs/Retainers
-Stock Cams
B18A1 Block - Stock
Garret gt28r .60 trim turbo
2.5' piping all around
750cc r/c injectors
So I had the stock intake manifold and throttle body on there. I bought a Performer X intake with a Pro. Products 65mm TB. The TB came with TPS and Map sensor. My b16 did not have a map sensor on it. When I start it up, my air/fuel reads 10.0 and smoke comes out the exhaust.
Soooooo I am not sure what to do from here.. Any help will be appreciated

Your car didn't have a map sensor but it ran??? Doubtful
What's the rest of your setup, engine management, was it tuned etc

Didn't the b16 have the map sensor on the firewall opposed to the b18 which has it on the throttle body? Did you connect the new MAP sensor?
Well this is in an eg hatch not the original car the b16 is in. And no i left it unconnected. Well on one start i disconnected the plug that goes to the tps into the map sensor on the TB but it did the same thing
I would locate your original MAP sensor and use it.... Changing MAP sensors can cause problems....Depending on the amount of readable bar determines the scale....hondata has preprogrammed scales for many map sensors, GM 3bar, Omni 4 bar etc. not sure about crome....
You should also check the TPS sensor to see if it is adjusted correctly.

i dont neccessaring mean the oem one....just saying the one that was used when it was running on the stock intake mani... it could have a map sensor tucked somewhere....look for a vacuum line connected to a sensor with 3 wires.
yes....wondering why there is a tee off of it.... is the vacuum line connected to a vacuum source...it will basically think its wide open throttle without boost if it does not see vacuum....
I disconnected it, plugged it into the current map sensor and it sounds perfect but the throttle cable was not connected. Would it be the same after i remount it?
adjust the throttle cable... and you still should check the tps voltage to see if it is adjusted correctly as well. if that hose is connected to vacuum and the other end is hanging open that is a vacuum leak and can also cause a high idle.
