stock feed as return ?

alright guys so im using my stock feed as return and my plan is to leave the banjo bolt and just cut off the tube that normally goes to the pump so the return just shoots straight down into the tank. so my ? is , is this what I should do or something else? also wondering what fitting I need to go into my hanger for my 8 an feed and also how do I connect said fitting to the pump? pump will b walbro 450. thanks for any help I can get guys.

So im thinking I can get a full blown hanger feed fitting and drill a hole threw my hanger n put a nut on the bottom side n get a barb fitting to screw in the feed fitting for the hose to go on from the pump. U guys think this would work?

well I was hoping for some insight but I just went ahead and ordered the 90 degree 8an to 3/8 npt and the 3/8 npt female barb to 3/8 hose hopefully that will work
