Door lock actuator only works sometimes
I have a 1999 Accord LX 4 door. The power door lock actuator on the passenger front and passenger rear door only works sometimes. I get 1 operation per time period. Like, if I flick the lock up, it will open. If I flick it back down, it will not go down. I have to wait a few minutes, then I flick it down, and it will go down. I can not perform back-to-back motions.
My mechanic says that the solenoids has gotten weak in both door, possibly, they head up after 1 actuation, and you have to wait until it cools down to get another use out of them.
Has anyone experienced this before? Can this be fixed, or do I have to replace the actuators?

It was actually 2, the front and rear door of the passenger side. I do find it odd, so I did some test. I continuously flick the lock up and down, after a time, they ALL slowed down and eventually stopped. I find this behavior very strange. After I let them 'cool off', they were able to work again.
What should I check with the Master switch assembly? Should I check the voltage, or something? This issue occurs when using the power lock switch from both the passenger and driver door.
I have the same problem with some of my doors...also the problem wont actually lock those, I have to go to the main door and turn the key opposite way to make it lock that way....Any solutions for mine or this ill explore.
