There should be a sticker on the top side of the deck for the wiring diagram. A loose ground is messing it up, miss matched/loose wiring or maybe you need to attach the ground wire to the body. I know with the last deck I put in I had to do that. Don't forget to wire up the remote wire if you have an amp.
