Default Anyone want to give me driving tips?

Today was rainy day and on the way back home~ i was just playing around to "learn" how to gain contol when it's overstreering~(heeh sorry oversteering is "front losing control right?)

I was going 60-70 km and slow down to about 40km or so (2nd gear) to turn in small intersection(so it's like 90 degree turn) but every single time my front slides~ and i just kept my foot on gas~ but it still slides~ kinda scary but i kept trying ... but could figure out how to correct it~

Any tips on how to gain back control after it's losing traction?

thx

yeah it was wet so i wanted to practice sliding and gain back control.

if not wet~ it has to be in higher speed to slide~ so i think that's more dangerous

My advice is to learn how to control your car at the limit on the track before you hurt yourself and/or innocent people.

We all would like to learn how to become better drivers, but please be smart about it.

You arent oversteering, you are PUSHING or understeering.

When your car is oversteering that is when your rear end slides out in a turn. That is the condition that can sometimes be corrected by turing into the slide and getting back on the gas.

When your car is pushing, getting on the gas makes it even worse. When you push you need to slow down and most of the times it mean blipping your brakes to plant the front end and give it more traction.

And for gods sakes, dont do this crap on the street.

Well I dont think loosing control at 20mph is going to teach you much. Especially considering you dont even know what to do.

To gain controll from pushing (understeer) I straiten the wheels out a bit and get on the brakes lightly to transfer some weight up to the front wheels.

get better tires! YOu can whip turns at 115 mph yo!
hahaha, j/ being sarcastic. If you can become an expert driver on dry traction, your skills in wet traction will improve with it
