Clutch stays engaged when clutch peadal fulley depressed.(sometimes)
94 gsr w/og tranny. (unsure what clutch is in there tho).
I've been noticing my clutch is remaining engaged somewhat even when my foot is fully down on the clutch pedal doesn't do it always but at least several times a day in stop n go traffic. I feel like it does it sometimes when I'm just rolling down hill there is a something holding me back(the engines compression). not sure where to start or what to suspect. any help is greatly appreciated this may be what's causing my idle problems when the car is fully stopped when it does it the car have a very rough idle(obviously I'm almost staling)

Just out of curiosity have you checked the fluid in the clutch reservoir?
Also peak your head down near the clutch master cylinder (near the clutch pedal) and see if you see fluid leaking around in that area...

I haven't checked yet but I will, the pedal his NO sponginess to it and the slave was replaced less then a year ago but i'll inspect it too. there's also no scratching/other odd noises coming from the tranny.
Two basic possibilities:
1) Clutch friction disc is sticking on its splines (poor fit, insufficient/incorrect lubricant, rust).
2) Master or slave cylinders (or both) are leaking past their seals.
A third (slight) possibility is a friction-disc spring that's about to jump ship. In such a case, the spring will dislodge only slightly, just enough to temporarily wedge itself between the friction disc and the flywheel. It takes a fair amount of abuse/incompetence/poor-quality to result in enough lip wear for the spring to want come loose to that degree. I do not know your mileage or the quality of the clutch you've got in there, so I rate this a "slight" possibility, at the moment.
Does this sensation go away if you pump the clutch pedal up and down rapidly several times in a row, THEN hold it to the floor?

Pull the lever out of gear into neutral, THEN do the multiple-pump thing and see if the lever afterwards moves any easier into- and out-of gear. Just try it, OK?
plenty of fluid in the SC and MC no leaks. now excessive engine movement was listed as a cause of the car slipping out of gear and the shifter wiggling. I've just bought/installed NEW hasport mount with a 70A bushing will test drive tomorrow and post. but realtegger I pumped the **** out of the pedal no change it's getting stuck ALOT now

if it helps there is a lot of free play before the clutch will even give resistance as in I can push the pedal it's self with my pinky till it actually gets to where you feel pressure. I think I need to adjust my pedal....? clutch is a competition clutch stage 3 full face/puck it's really new and has a HEAVY pressure plate. again SC and MC are fine and not leaking plenty of fluid in the system.
