Not looking for a estimate just a vague idea on what repair price should be
I got a 1995 hatch the cars runs great doesnt smoke has a great jdm d15b built with paperwork etc etc it does have a ugly quarter though. I got it in a trade for my sedan which was just a d15b7 not much special done to it coilovers etc but a clean body. The motor was starting to show some age(smoke leaks etc.) and im just not much into sedans anymore.
My question is how much should this repair cost and which route should I take. it looks like its been screwed up by someone who thought they might try to make it look better but just didnt have the skill. I took it to one shop they said it would need a new quarter welded in and a patch on one piece of the roof it isnt bad on the roof at all that cud be bondo fiberglass repaired. The next shop said it could probably all fiberglass bondo repaired but it worries me because I dont think the glass is or will seat correctly it could just be me.They both werent really willing to give estimates because it was just a quick look didnt really get into detail.Sorry if pictures are not the best my phone doesnt take the best and it was getting dark out.

Well I think the 1/4 is fixable but I cant tell to much. You would be looking at 65 an hr and prob about 15-20 hrs of flat rate. and if you are looking at painting it too you are looking at about 1K-3K in paint and prep.
well i forgot to add i wouldnt mind running with primer for a little bit. The story behind the damage was a tree limb fell and messed up the panel above the quarter window and to the left near the duckbill. I cant really tell how much damage their was without going back down to metal.I was thinking at first yeah just get it fixed without putting in practically all of that panel from door back to the hatch. But now im thinking i might have too if i could find a donor car thats completely clean on that side (not likely I have been browsing around) it probably would not be that high. Its not really stressing me out its just ugly the rest of the car looks pretty great.
