G3 teg constanly blows hot air from vents.
has been like this since day one I'm just curious as to WHY. the slider works fine and when you put it on hot it's crazy hot great for early mornings but the blower is always on(kinda) and blows hot air from the vents.

If u press the recirculation button nothin should come out of vents when u have the blower motor off... Also if u have the **** all they way cold but is still blowing hot air check your heater valve
heater valve ? I know where to find diagrams I just need to know where to look for this thing. yes when it's on recirculate nothing really comes out but it's like heat is seeping into the cabin LOTS of heat ! the temp gauge sits under half just as it should. I know where the calbe connects in the bay so maybe I'll try pushing/pulling that. I've removed some/most of the foam stuff behind the dash/foot well so I guess it may get a bit hotter due to that but what's happening here is rather intense lol.
The water valve is on one of the heater hose lines in engine bay close to the firewall.
If it looks like it is working, lever moves "when" slider is moved, pinch off one of the lines, [there is a tool but Vice Grips can be used] and see if that makes a diff., if so, replace the valve, if no diff. valve is good and you have another problem.94

I just decided to cut the cable and force the valve shut, ended up removing those hoses to get room to work for removing the rear mount. I noticed that I wasn't fully closed when the thing on the dash said it was. So that probably was the thing thx guys if not i'll just bypass the heater and remove it.
