Swappers help. I just want a clean dash. I have a 1996 Gsr in an ek4 with a stock harness wired for VTec etc.

I pulling code 23. Is there a plug on the harness or I gotta re pin the ecu ? Not sure. Or is there a way the jumper it out so the stock (USDm Gsr ecu I believe) won't see it?

Emissions can't have codes here also so I'm preparing

is it really an EK4 or is this a USDM car? What is the block number on the GSR, is it USDM or JDM? Which harness are you using, the one that came with the car? What ECU are you using? Where are you doing emissions? Is there a knock sensor in your block? Is it plugged into the harness? If not into the harness have you wired it into the ECU?

Maybe this helps if you need to wire it yourself.

It's a jdm Gsr b18c. I will have to check the back and search what it looks like

 

I believe a p72 currently obd2a and usdm

My other q will this AFfect performance for racing I have code 1 and 23. And am re checking timing marks / ign timing to top performance. Code 1 I have spare o2's if that's what's needed

 

You are going to have to wire in the knock sensor.

 

Fun times. Will I need to get a knock sensor also or the engine in theory should have one?

 

The engine should already have a knock sensor.
