Default LS VTEC EK won't start - need help

What's up HT
I've been having issues with my LSV - and this build has been a long time issue, literally ran into every problem there is.

anyway last thursday I had her up and running. Needed a tune but was just trying to get gas in her. As soon as I put gas in her, less than 2 minutes down the street the car shut off. I was in first at about 4000 when it happened. It will crank and crank all day. But no start.

I pulled the dizzy off yesterday to find the two tabs that lock the dizzy into the cam had broken off. I replaced the snap ring, lock, and tab from an LS dizzy onto my dizzy, figured that would fix my no start. No good...still will crank and crank.

I can hear the fuel pump kicking on - so I didn't think that was my problem.

I know the spark plugs are good, theyre 7 days old and I copied the firing order off of a GSR so I know that's right.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why it won't start. I'm hoping it's not the timing because my buddy timed the motor for me - I'm not that advanced as a honda guy yet.

I also know the ECU is good, Hondata s300.

The setup is gsr head b1 block in ej.

Please help me get this thing started. It is(was) my dream car but at this point if I can't get her together I don't know what I'm going to do.

The piece with two teeth on the back of the dizzy that you replaced can go on 2 ways. Try to rotate it 180 degrees and see if that works.

This was the problem. The two teeth on the back of the dizzy had broken off. Once I replaced them with the teeth from another dizzy an plugged it right in it fired up perfect!
