Default 2000 civic si road course car obd2 to obd1 swap NEED HELP!!

Ok guys and gals,
Im new to the honda seen with race cars. I have a 2000 civic si. We stripped the cars interior including dash and all wiring harness except portion from fuse panel to ecu and engine harness. No headlight harness. I have changed the ecu to obd1 from xenocron since the immobilizer wouldnt allow the car to start(thats what they told me. ALso used there harness adapter. Problem is car still wont start. They only turned off the post cat o2 censor. I need help. We have our first race in 3 weeks and im in trouble. Grounds are good to ecu and block. I will start sometimes but will not take gas. Plugs are wet and I have spark.... Fuel pump is new with fuel cell and wired to the correct wire in harness to run off of ecu. What have I done wrong??? Please help. Thanks in advance!!
Jeremy

There is no immobilizer on a north American civic si. An obd1 ecu doesn't even look for a post cat o2 sensor, so there is nothing to "turn off".

It's really hard to say what is wrong, as you have removed most of the wiring. Is it throwing any codes?

Engine? If you ripped a bunch of wiring out then it could be anything really.

B16 engine. The guy from xenocron told me about the ecu having an immobilizer. Everything seems in order as far as I can tell. Not sure on the codes yet. I tried to find the wire that went to the cel last night to flash the codes but i havent had any success yet. (No gauge cluster). Thanks for the responses.

Can we back up and define the actual problem? Is this a no start or a crank and no start? Did you get rid of the main relay in your mad dash to remove all the wiring? What ECU is it that was claimed to have an immobilizer?

Problem is the engine turns over but doesnt crank. I have got it to crank for about 10 secs but it sputters and cuts back off. The main relay next to the ecu is still in. The original ecu was a obd2b. Xenocron sold me a obd1 programed to a b16 vtech. Didnt start at all with the original ecu.
Thanks

again, which ecu was it? the only usdm ecu to have an immobilizer was the obd2b integra ecu. 96-00 civics never had it.

the only thing I can say is to go back over your wiring and make sure you didn't remove anything you didn't need.

Obd2b wouldnt crank. turn over but never crank. New xenocron obd1 turns over and has started for a few secs but thats all. We also removed the emissions canister and its sensor, then closed off the vacuum port on top of the intake. Thanks for the replies
