The Bf were really noies and the defenders weren't much better.I had yokohama's before and they were really quite . I drive a lot the car is stock and so are the wheels. Someone said maybe wheel bearings ? If there isn't anything wrong. I am going to have to ripping the seats out and add some sound deadening. the drowning is driving me nuts . Any help or idea's would be great thanks

YOu should be able to tell the difference between road noise and the noise a wheel bearing makes when it's shot.

AFAIK, small passenger vehicles like Civic's and their generally sized tires don't make much road sound as compared to 4x4 Trucks and especially lifted ones with larger profiles.

Do a shake test on the wheels (depending where the sound actually comes from, or check all wheels), lift up the car. Imagine the face of a clock and put your hand on 12-6, shake it to test the wheel bearing. While you're at it you can do the 3-9 to test the tie rod.

Bearings maybe but if they are ok you should buy another brand.
BFG's are notorious for noise. Its hit or miss these days.
Americas tire has a 30 warranty on their tires...
Try falken or nitto.

This should make it quite obvious if a wheel bearing, and you might find something worn anyway with this test!

True - a dying bearing sounds like a damn wheat grinder is running in one corner of your car - try to figure out which.

You must resist dropping into the gutter on this one, and it's a slippery slope!
